As a sponsor of the 2012 Summer Olympic Games, Duracell wanted a big idea. Why not Help Power Team USA as the athletes go for the gold in London? We invited consumers to submit a motivational video, text, or photo message to become part of the Virtual Stadium, an experience that lived on Duracell’s Facebook page, YouTube page, and website.
Custom Kinect experience
My team created a custom-built Microsoft Xbox Kinect experience that allowed U.S. athletes in London to explore messages submitted to the Virtual Stadium from their fans back home. The campaign won a 2012 MITX award.
